Valtra T Series performance testing

Overview

The Finnish manufacturer Valtra conducted high-speed performance tests using its sixth-generation T Series tractor in Austria and Germany. In collaboration with Nokian Tyres, the T236 model set a lap record at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, reaching a top speed of 87 km/h and completing the circuit in 3 minutes and 36.4 seconds.

Subsequent testing in western Germany focused on agricultural precision. Using a Väderstad Tempo planter, the tractor achieved a corn sowing speed of 40.125 km/h while maintaining a planting accuracy of over 95% through the use of a PTx guidance system. The demonstrations highlighted the capabilities of the 245 hp AGCO Power CORE75 engine and specialized equipment designed for high-velocity field operations.
