Van industrial leaders discuss new 250 billion lira credit package

Burhan Kayatürk, AK Party Van Deputy and President of the EU Harmonization Commission, met with Memet Aslan, Chairman of the Van Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), to discuss regional industrial development and investment. The discussions focused on the current state of Van's industry, ongoing investments, and the development of a textile city to strengthen the local economy.

A central topic of the meeting was a new credit package prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology to facilitate financing for the manufacturing sector. This 250 billion lira program aims to support both SMEs and large enterprises by increasing credit availability and reducing financing costs.

Under the new program, companies in the manufacturing sector can apply starting September 1. The support includes loans with up to 6 months of grace periods and maturities of up to 36 months. Additionally, the credit limit for large enterprises has been increased from 50 million lira to 150 million lira to encourage production-oriented investments.
