To quoc trong tim musical event draws thousands in Ho Chi Minh City
The patriotic musical program “To quoc trong tim 2026” (Motherland in the Heart) was held on August 23 at Van Phuc City, Ho Chi Minh City, to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day. Organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the event drew approximately 40,000 to 50,000 spectators.
The program was structured into three chapters: “Non song mot dai” (A Unified Land), “Sac do tu hao” (Proud Red Color), and “To quoc trong tim” (Motherland in the Heart). It utilized modern technology and music to recount historical milestones, including the 1945 Revolution, the Dien Bien Phu victory, and the Ho Chi Minh Campaign. A diverse lineup of artists from various generations performed, including Tung Duong, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Soobin, and Huong Tram.
Despite heavy rain during the event, the audience remained to participate in the flag-raising ceremony and sing the national anthem. The event also featured activities at Nguyen Hue Walking Street to expand the cultural experience for the public.
