Van Vicker files GH¢10m defamation lawsuit against LilWin

Actor Van Vicker has filed a GH¢10 million defamation lawsuit against fellow actor LilWin at the Accra High Court. The legal action follows a viral video in which LilWin allegedly questioned Van Vicker’s professionalism and suggested he could no longer participate in movie productions in Kumasi.

Actor Wayoosi has advised LilWin to be more mindful of his public statements, noting that this is the second major defamation case involving the actor. In February 2024, actress Martha Ankomah filed a GH¢5 million lawsuit against LilWin regarding similar allegations.

Entertainment pundit Watumoto has expressed support for the decision to use the judicial system, stating that resolving the dispute through the courts is a constructive alternative to public verbal confrontations.
