Vandalism incidents reported in Łukowica and Świdnica

Authorities in the Łukowica municipality are appealing for public assistance following a series of vandalism incidents. Bogdan Łuczkowski, the local mayor, reported significant damage to a sports field in Świdnik, including destroyed bench enclosures, advertising banners, and seating. Recent acts also involved the destruction of stabilizing poles for newly laid surfaces and the overturning of portable toilets. The estimated material losses amount to thousands of zlotys.

In the nearby city of Świdnica, residents are expressing frustration over ongoing vandalism and public disorder, particularly on Pułaskiego Street. Despite identifying the area as a critical point for pathological behavior, the municipal government has denied requests for additional camera installations, citing budget constraints. Local municipal services have also noted that the existing monitoring system is operating at near-maximum capacity, with aging equipment and limited personnel to manage the surveillance network.
