Vandalism reported against public facilities in Stalettì and Partanna
Multiple municipalities in Italy are reporting acts of vandalism targeting public facilities and community spaces.
In Stalettì, the municipal administration and the Asd Stalettì sports association have filed a complaint with the Carabinieri following the destruction of changing rooms at the local sports field. The damage includes broken doors, shattered glass, and destroyed sanitary facilities. Local authorities have appealed to citizens for information to assist law enforcement in identifying those responsible.
In Partanna, recent vandalism has targeted public areas, including a playground in Piazza Umberto I where parts of a slide and a spring rider were damaged. Additionally, a stone bench in Via Gramsci was broken. Mayor Francesco Li Vigni stated that these incidents impact the entire community as they involve the destruction of resources intended for public use. The municipality has offered surveillance footage to the Carabinieri to aid in the investigation.
