Vareš and Otočka schools celebrate Bread Days with community events

Schools in Vareš and Otočka are observing Bread Days and World Food Day through various community events.

In Vareš, students and teachers from the local elementary school are organizing a humanitarian exhibition of bread, pastries, and produce. The proceeds from the sale, scheduled for October 11 at the courtyard of the St. Michael Parish Church, will be donated to the St. Klara School in Rwentobu, Uganda. The funds are intended to provide school supplies and food for students in Uganda, continuing a previous effort to support the school's construction and equipment.

In Otočka, students at the Područna škola Otočka held a program featuring plays, recitations, and songs to mark the occasion. Local families contributed by preparing various baked goods and baskets of autumn produce for the community gathering.
