Various restaurants in Saitama and Tokyo announce closures

Several restaurants in the Saitama and Tokyo regions are scheduled to close in late 2026.

In Saitama City's Minuma Ward, the popular Mazesoba restaurant ‘Chuka Soba Ichi’ near Higashi-Omiya Station is closing its operations on August 28, 2026. The establishment was well-known in the local community for its Mazesoba and its role in providing bento services during the pandemic.

In Tokyo's Edogawa Ward, multiple dining establishments at the Nishi-Kasai Metro Center 3rd Avenue are also set to close. ‘Torisen’ will close on August 31, 2026, followed by ‘Nakau Nishi-Kasai Ekimae’ on September 13, 2026. Additionally, the ‘Shinjuku Saboten’ location is scheduled to close on September 23, 2026.
