Varna region facing power outages due to electrical repairs

Planned power outages are scheduled across the Varna region due to urgent repairs, construction, and preventive maintenance on electricity delivery facilities. The disruptions are occurring between August 17 and August 21, 2026.

In Varna, specific areas including Karantinata, Zelenika, and various institutions such as the Institute of Oceanology and Varna University of Management are affected. Other impacted locations include Padina, Dabravino, Novakovo, Shipsko, Kalimantsi, and Vulchik Dol.

Additional outages and potential disturbances are reported in regions such as Priselci, Dulino, Dolgopol, Komarevo, and Kipra. Maintenance activities are being conducted to ensure the stability of the electrical network, with some areas experiencing staggered shutdowns to minimize the impact on all customers.
