Vasco da Gama pursues Robert Renan purchase and extends Ramon Rique contract

Vasco da Gama is advancing several roster moves to strengthen its squad. The club is working to permanently acquire defender Robert Renan from Zenit for approximately 8 million euros (roughly R$ 47-48 million). The deal would grant Vasco 70% of the 22-year-old's economic rights, with the remaining 30% staying with the Russian club. The decision must be communicated to Zenit by November.

In long-term planning, Vasco has secured the future of 18-year-old midfielder Ramon Rique. The club has reached an agreement to extend his contract until the end of 2030, providing him with a salary increase and protecting the asset formed in their youth academy.

Additionally, the club has officially presented new defender Gabriel, who is expected to compete for a starting position alongside current starters Cuesta and Robert Renan. On the offensive side, players David and Andrés Gómez have shown improved form, contributing significantly to recent victories as the team fights to avoid relegation in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
