Upon arriving in Rio de Janeiro, Duarte, who will wear the number 19 shirt, expressed his readiness to contribute, describing himself as a “mobile player who seeks to participate in all phases of the match.”

Following a full week of training, Duarte is expected to make his official debut this Saturday in a Campeonato Brasileiro match against Fluminense at the Maracanã. He is physically prepared for selection by Pedro Emanuel and aims to join the group of Vasco center-forwards, such as Raniel and Vegetti, who scored in their debut matches for the club.
