Vasco da Gama nears full squad availability with Brenner's recovery

Vasco da Gama is nearing a full squad availability as key players recover from injuries. Striker Brenner is in the final stages of physical transition following a ligament injury in his left foot. He is expected to return to unrestricted activities by the first half of October. His recovery is viewed as a significant internal reinforcement, reducing the club's need to seek new signings in the international market.

In addition to Brenner, midfielder Mateus Carvalho has completed a nine-month recovery from knee surgery and has returned to training with the group. The club's medical department is working toward clearing all remaining clinical cases to provide coach Pedro Emanuel with a complete roster for the final stretch of the season.

Goalkeeper Léo Jardim has publicly praised the club's leadership and technical staff, stating that President Pedrinho ‘saved Vasco’ by bringing order to the institution. Jardim also highlighted the professionalism of the coaching staff led by Pedro Emanuel, noting their ability to balance high demands with player confidence.
