Vasco da Gama signs striker Bruno Duarte from Red Star Belgrade

Vasco da Gama has officially announced the signing of 30-year-old striker Bruno Duarte from Serbian club Red Star Belgrade. The Brazilian forward has signed a contract through December 2028, which includes an option for an additional year. The transfer fee is estimated to be approximately 2 million euros.

Duarte, who will wear the number 19 shirt, arrives to bolster the attack of coach Pedro Emanuel as Vasco struggles in the Brasileirão. During his two-year tenure at Red Star Belgrade, Duarte recorded 42 goals and 14 assists in 98 appearances, winning two Serbian championships and two Serbian Cups.

In an emotional farewell to his former club and fans, Duarte expressed his gratitude for the support received in Serbia. He stated that he arrives in Rio de Janeiro ready to contribute with goals and assists, describing himself as a mobile player who seeks to participate in all phases of the match.
