Vasilis Papakonstantinou draws thousands to Itea concert in Thessaly

Greek singer Vasilis Papakonstantinou performed a two‑hour concert on Friday night in Itea, a village in the municipality of Palama, Karditsa. The event, organised by the Thessaly Region as part of its “Cultural Summer 2026” programme, attracted several thousand attendees who sang along and celebrated the artist’s repertoire.

Regional Governor Dimitris Kouretas welcomed Papakonstantinou to the stage, praising the show and noting that the Thessaly Region will continue to host further major concerts and cultural evenings.
