Vauxhall unveils electric performance Corsa GSE and Mokka GSE

Vauxhall has launched two new high‑performance electric models. The Corsa GSE, marketed as a hot‑hatch EV, is priced from £32,995 (including a £1,500 grant) and delivers 276 bhp, 0‑62 mph in 5.5 seconds, a 54 kWh battery with up to a 232‑mile WLTP range, and fast 80 % charging in about 30 minutes. It features larger Alcon brakes, lowered suspension, a Torsen limited‑slip differential, and a sport‑focused interior with Alcantara upholstery and a 10‑inch infotainment screen.

The Mokka GSE is Vauxhall’s first sporty electric crossover SUV. Built on a shared Stellantis platform, it uses a 51 kWh battery and an electric motor producing 281 hp and 254 lb‑ft of torque, sent to the front wheels via a Torsen limited‑slip differential. It accelerates 0‑62 mph in 5.9 seconds and tops out at 124 mph. The model was unveiled at the Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire and is linked to the 2026 ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup, with the road car sharing the same powertrain as the rally version. Drivers can select Sport, Normal (231 hp) or Eco (190 hp) modes, the latter limiting top speed to 93 mph.
