Víctor Atallah seeks academic alliances at Harvard for Dominican health sector

Dominican Republic Public Health Minister Víctor Atallah participated in the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program to strengthen leadership and management within the country's health sector. The program integrates expertise from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and the Harvard Kennedy School.

During the program, Atallah shared the challenges and progress regarding the transformation of the Dominican sanitary system while exchanging perspectives with international experts. He emphasized that the goal of health transformation is to achieve concrete results that directly impact people's lives, stating, “Transforming is not doing more; it is achieving better health results.”

Atallah also held meetings with various academic departments at Harvard to explore cooperation opportunities and potential agreements aimed at knowledge exchange and capacity building for the Dominican health sector.
