Vehicle collisions cause major traffic jams on Toluca's Plaza Santín bridge and Mexico City's López Portillo Avenue

A rear‑end collision between two vehicles on the Plaza Santín bridge in Toluca halted traffic in one of the capital’s main access routes. No injuries were reported, and authorities worked to clear the site, gradually restoring vehicle flow.

On José López Portillo Avenue in Mexico City, a black van failed to yield and struck a loaded van carrying construction blocks. The impact caused material damage but no casualties. The city’s Secretaría de Protección y Seguridad Ciudadana (SPSC) directed traffic, removed the vehicles and resumed normal circulation after the incident.
