Vehicle theft recovery in San Antonio and arson attacks in Ciudad Juárez

In San Antonio, Chile, authorities have located one of the vehicles stolen during a violent robbery at a municipal warehouse on August 14. During the incident, at least six individuals entered the facility, intimidated and tied up a security guard, and stole two municipal trucks and two private vehicles. The recovered vehicle, a grey Peugeot, was found in the Llolleo Alto sector after a resident reported an abandoned car. The PDI is currently investigating the theft to identify those responsible.

In Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, a series of arson attacks targeted multiple locations during the early hours of Thursday. The Fire Department reported that eight vehicles were affected across three separate incidents: five vehicles burned on Avenida Ejército Nacional, two in the Eréndira subdivision, and one in the Barrio Alto neighborhood. These attacks follow the intentional burning of three personnel transport trucks on Wednesday, bringing the total to 11 vehicles set on fire within a two-day period. No injuries or arrests have been reported.
