Vejdirektoratet starts new asphalt work on Route 11 and E45 in Denmark

The Danish Road Directorate (Vejdirektoratet) began resurfacing Route 11 near Rejsby and Brøns on 10 August. The project will replace worn pavement on two sections between Egebæk‑Rejsby and Brøns‑Skærbæk, lasting roughly four weeks. Work is carried out in daylight hours (06:00‑18:00) with traffic controlled by temporary lights, and drivers may experience longer travel times.

A second resurfacing project started on 16 August on the E45 near Randers. Over about three weeks, new asphalt will be laid on a seven‑kilometre stretch south of the Gudenåen. Work is scheduled for evenings and nights, with one lane closed in each direction, reduced speed limits, and temporary diversions for some access points, including the Info‑teria Gudenå West service area.

Both programmes aim to provide smoother road surfaces and improved driving experiences while minimizing disruption for motorists.
