Velichie Party registers for Bulgarian presidential elections

The Velichie Party has officially submitted its documents and approximately 7,000 signatures to the Central Election Commission to register for the upcoming presidential elections in Bulgaria. The party noted that the submission marks the beginning of their formal campaign preparations, though the specific names of their presidential and vice-presidential candidates have not yet been announced.

The presidential elections are scheduled for October 25. Other candidates and pairings already entering the race include Iliana Yotova for president and Kiril Valchev for vice president, supported by an initiative committee. Other announced contenders include former caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov with Georgi Kandev, Radostin Vasilev of the MECH party with Krasimir Manov, and Nikolay Nenchev of BZNS with Tsveta Kirilova.
