Misano World Circuit hosts San Marino Grand Prix racing and events
The San Marino Grand Prix at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli has seen significant activity across multiple racing categories. In MotoGP, Marco Bezzecchi secured pole position with a new lap record, followed by Marc Marquez in second.
In the Moto2 category, Senna Agius claimed pole position, completing a double for the Intact GP team. The Moto3 qualifying session saw David Almansa take his sixth pole of the season with a time of 1:40.612, leading a field that included Brian Uriarte and Joel Kelso.
Beyond the racing, the event has facilitated various commercial and regional partnerships. The brand VELO has renewed its collaboration with Aprilia Racing, hosting experiential activities for adult consumers at the circuit and in Rimini. Additionally, Misano Adriatico has strengthened its tourism partnership with Bolzano and the Latemar Dolomites to promote year-round travel between the coast and the mountains.
Looking ahead, EICMA and MotoGP have announced the “Legends of Speed” exhibition, scheduled for November 2026 in Milan, which will showcase over 35 iconic motorcycles spanning seventy years of racing history.
