Venezuela implements infrastructure maintenance in Monagas and Delta Amacuro

Authorities in Venezuela have launched several infrastructure and maintenance operations across different regions. In the Libertador Municipality of Monagas state, Hidroven Monagas and local government officials implemented a technical sanitation plan in Temblador. Using vacuum units and hydrojet machinery, crews cleaned 12 septic tanks and cleared 12 manholes to restore the sewage network, benefiting over 480 families in sectors including Las Parcelas and Guayabal.

In the Tucupita municipality of Delta Amacuro state, officials have begun tree pruning and cutting operations to protect the regional electrical grid. This initiative is part of a national plan to mitigate the impact of the ‘Super Niño’ weather phenomenon on the electrical system. Minister Yelitze Santaella and local authorities have also advised citizens to practice energy conservation, such as turning off unused lights and disconnecting chargers, to maintain service stability during the environmental contingency.
