The Venezuelan Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MinSalud) is implementing several initiatives to strengthen the national public health system across various regions.

In La Guaira, authorities inspected rehabilitation works at the Dr. Rafael Medina Jiménez Hospital to modernize strategic areas and improve medical care standards. In Cojedes, the Dr. Augusto Malavé Villalba Integral Popular Clinic received new medical supplies, equipment, and furniture to assist in decongesting the nearby San Carlos hospital.

In Barinas, a vaccination monitoring deployment in the Cruz Paredes municipality achieved 100% coverage for routine and yellow fever vaccinations across nine sectors. Additionally, the Fundación Misión Barrio Adentro has launched a training program for health record and statistics assistants to improve epidemiological surveillance and data processing, initially focusing on the Capital Region before expanding nationwide.
