Venezuela to host 2026 International Summit on Public Management and Digital Economy

Venezuela will host the International Summit on Public Management and Digital Economy (CIGED) 2026. The event is scheduled to take place from October 12 to 17 across the cities of Valencia, Maracay, and Caracas.

Under the theme ‘Public management, GovTech and digital economy for the governance of the future’, the summit aims to bring together international specialists, academics, government authorities, and business representatives. Discussions will focus on artificial intelligence, smart government development, e-commerce, digital finance, and the evolving skills required for human talent in both public and private sectors.

The summit is organized by Grupo Benflor, with support from the Ibero-American Union of Municipalists and the Spanish educational institution ALEPH. Strategic partners include the Venezuelan Chamber of Electronic Commerce (Cavecom-e), the University of Carabobo, and the Universidad Nueva Esparta. The program intends to strengthen the digital and managerial capabilities of approximately 1,200 leaders and managers involved in public administration and territorial development.
