Venezuela to host major trade and maritime summits in 2026
Venezuela is preparing for two major commercial and industrial events in late 2026 aimed at boosting economic activity and regional connectivity.
The IV edition of the Venezuelan Foreign Trade Summit, SUVECOEX 2026, is scheduled for October 28 and 29 at the Eurobuilding Hotel & Suites in Caracas. The summit aims to gather over 500 entrepreneurs, investors, and logistics operators to discuss macroeconomic perspectives, supply chains, and humanitarian logistics. The event will include an academic agenda featuring various economic and logistics experts, a commercial expo, and a specialized training program called SUVECOACADEMY.
Additionally, the sixth edition of Expomar 2026 will take place from November 26 to 28. Organized by the company Atlántico, this event focuses on the maritime, commercial, and industrial sectors. Held in Falcón, the summit seeks to position Punto Fijo as a key port city and link between Venezuela and the Caribbean islands of Aruba, Curaçao, and Bonaire. The program will feature between 14 and 16 national and international conferences.
