Venezuela economic and trade event expansion
Overview
Venezuela is preparing for several major commercial and industrial events in late 2026 to boost economic activity and regional connectivity.
In September and October, Venezuela will return as an invited country to the XXXV Bogotá International Industrial Fair (FIB 2026) in Colombia after a 12-year absence. A Venezuelan Business Pavilion, operated by Hergon Projects LLC in alliance with Corferias, will occupy over 1,400 square meters to connect the country’s public and private sectors with international investors and distributors.
Following this, Venezuela will host two domestic summits. The SUVECOEX 2026 Venezuelan Foreign Trade Summit is scheduled for late October in Caracas, focusing on macroeconomic perspectives, supply chains, and humanitarian logistics. In late November, the sixth edition of Expomar 2026 will take place in Falcón, aiming to position Punto Fijo as a maritime and industrial link between Venezuela and the Caribbean islands of Aruba, Curaçao, and Bonaire.
