Venezuela weather: Tropical wave 52 to bring variable rainfall

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) has forecasted atmospheric instability across Venezuela, characterized by variable intensity rainfall primarily during afternoons and evenings. This weather pattern is driven by several factors, including the movement of tropical wave number 52 through western Venezuela and interactions with cloud systems over the Caribbean.

Significant precipitation is expected in several regions, including Zulia, the Andes (Mérida, Táchira, and Trujillo), Portuguesa, Falcón, Yaracuy, Aragua, La Guaira, Bolívar, Amazonas, and Delta Amacuro. In the central and western regions, including Carabobo, Guárico, Apure, and Lara, rainfall is also anticipated. In the capital district and Miranda, increasing cloud cover may trigger showers with potential electrical discharges after midday.

Temperature forecasts indicate minimums of 16°C in mountainous areas of Mérida and maximums reaching 39°C in Falcón, southern Nueva Esparta, and Guayana Esequiba. Sea conditions are expected to remain stable with wave heights between 1 and 1.5 meters along the coast.
