Irina Shayk honored at Venice Film Festival

At the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, supermodel Irina Shayk received the Filming Italy Women Power Award, an honor recognizing her influence in fashion and visual culture. She received the award alongside Orlando Bloom.

Shayk made several notable red carpet appearances, including a look for the premiere of ‘The Echo Chamber’ featuring an archival black Dolce & Gabbana dress from the Spring/Summer 2003 collection. The dress, which originally featured on catwalks during the era of Gisele Bündchen, included daring side cutouts and a bondage-inspired aesthetic. For the premiere of ‘The Spiral’, she wore a black Romeo Gigli dress paired with Camper x Issey Miyake ‘Anna’ sock boots.

Beyond individual fashion moments, the festival highlighted emerging beauty trends. Industry experts noted a shift toward ‘understated, fresh and radiant beauty,’ moving away from heavy, perfected finishes in favor of luminous skin and natural textures.
