Venice restaurant targeted in unusual spritz ingredient theft

A thief targeted the Orient Experience restaurant in Venice during the night between Sunday and Monday, specifically stealing ingredients used to make spritz cocktails. The perpetrator forced the entrance door and accessed the service cash drawer to take the remaining coins.

Notably, the thief bypassed more expensive wines and premium liquors, focusing instead on approximately ten packages of products such as Aperol, Campari, and Select. The total cost of the stolen goods and the damage to the entrance door is estimated at approximately 1,000 euros.

Investigations are ongoing, but the lack of surveillance cameras and eyewitnesses has made identifying the suspect difficult. The restaurant owners noted that another of their establishments, Africa Experience, suffered four thefts within a three-month period last year.
