Venâncio Aires hosts second stage of 18th National Chimarrão Festival with candidates and cultural programs

The 18th Festa Nacional do Chimarrão (Fenachim) continued in Venâncio Aires, Rio Grande do Sul, from May 6 to May 10 at the Parque Municipal do Chimarrão Almedo Dettenborn. The second stage featured school workshops, gospel concerts, dance bands, a senior‑citizen gathering, and various food and craft stalls.

Four pre‑candidates for the Rio Grande do Sul governorship – Juliana Brizola (PDT), Luciano Zucco (PL), Gabriel Souza (MDB) and Marcelo Maranata (PSDB) – visited the festival, gave interviews and met local officials, while the event also included a session of the municipal council and an innovation arena hosted by SEBRAE.
