Vera and Arroio do Meio Municipalities Announce Public Asset Auctions

The municipality of Vera in Mato Grosso will hold a public auction on 26 August at 09:00 local time, offering 35 lots of vehicles, trucks, buses, micro‑buses, tractors, heavy machinery and scrap. The assets, valued at roughly R$ 932,700, will be sold in their current condition both on‑site and online. Mayor Yago Giacomelli said the sale will free up space, cut maintenance costs and generate revenue for municipal improvements.

Arroio do Meio in Rio Grande do Sul will conduct an electronic auction on 12 August, presenting ten lots that include light vehicles, buses, micro‑buses, equipment and scrap, with minimum bids ranging from R$ 1,000 to R$ 148,700. The process will run through the public procurement portal, and Secretary of Works Rodrigo Kreutz explained that the proceeds will be reinvested in the town’s fleet and equipment to enhance public services.
