Veracruz and Chiautempan municipalities boost health services

In Ángel R. Cabada, Veracruz, municipal president Samantha Sánchez del Hoyo inspected the results of the federal "La Clínica es Nuestra" program, confirming upgrades and equipment at the local health center and recognizing community health committees for overseeing fund use.

In Chiautempan, municipal president Blanca Angulo Meneses signed an agreement with the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (ISSSTE) to install a comprehensive medical module in the Ciudad de los Niños park, aiming to serve more than 11,000 residents with expanded clinic hours and staff.

Both initiatives reflect local authorities’ efforts to improve preventive health infrastructure and increase access to medical services for their communities.
