Mexico and Central America: Regional security, culture, and community updates
Various regional developments are occurring across Mexico and Central America. In Veracruz, the Guardianas del Maíz festival celebrates culinary diversity and indigenous heritage, while the Espiral de las Artes initiative seeks to shape future cultural policies in Xalapa. Additionally, the state prosecutor's office disabled 635 phone lines used for extortion in August.
