Veracruz authorities announce rewards and judicial updates

The Veracruz State Attorney General's Office (FGE) has announced several judicial developments and reward offers. In a 24-hour period, the FGE reported 30 convictions and 23 legal proceedings related to crimes including kidnapping, homicide, and gender-based violence. Additionally, the FGE is offering a total of 3.5 million pesos in rewards to locate ten missing persons reported between 2011 and 2026.

In a separate case, authorities are offering 700,000 pesos in total rewards for information leading to the capture of Lenin Salvador Córdova Pérez, the alleged perpetrator in the feminicide of Dr. Cristina Ramos Argüello, and his father, Lenin Yuri Córdova Santana, who is suspected of involvement in the cover-up. The crime occurred in Coatzacoalcos on October 15.
