Verifactu regulations to impact Spanish mechanical workshops
New Verifactu regulations will soon impact mechanical workshops in Spain, requiring updates to digital billing systems to ensure the integrity, traceability, and inalterability of records. The new framework mandates that computer systems used for invoicing must be capable of continuous electronic transmission of records to the Tax Agency (Agencia Tributaria). Invoices generated under this system must include specific regulatory elements, such as a QR code representation.
Deadlines for adaptation vary by entity type: businesses subject to Corporate Tax must comply by January 1, 2027, while all other affected obligated parties must comply by July 1, 2027. To assist with this transition, CEESA has integrated Verifactu requirements into its Talleres Líder Click ERP software, which is designed specifically for the mechanical workshop sector.
