Vesthimmerlands Kommune launches initiative to connect children with local associations

Vesthimmerlands Kommune has launched the ‘Spirende Fællesskaber’ initiative to bridge the gap between kindergartens and local community associations. The program aims to introduce young children to various leisure activities and clubs within their local areas to foster familiarity and security.

As part of the program, children from Børnehave Troldehøjen in Aars recently visited local scouts to experience club activities firsthand. The initiative includes coordinators to facilitate connections between kindergartens and local organizations, helping to plant seeds for future participation in community life.
