Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan to visit Uttarakhand

Indian Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan is scheduled to undertake a two-day official visit to Uttarakhand on August 19 and 20, 2026. The visit focuses on engaging with upcoming civil service officers at premier training institutions.

On the first day, the Vice-President will visit the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA) in Dehradun. During this stop, he is expected to address and interact with the 2025–27 batch of Indian Forest Service (IFS) probationers regarding public service and environmental resource management.

On the second day, Radhakrishnan will travel to Mussoorie to serve as the chief guest at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA). He will attend the valedictory ceremony for Phase-II of the IAS Professional Course for the 2024 batch. While at the academy, he will also pay floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.
