He emphasized that every citizen has a constitutional right to express opinions, critique policies and help monitor the administration, describing such engagement as a sign of a healthy democracy.

Gibran welcomed the emerging “shadow cabinet” initiative, noting that objective, data‑based and solution‑oriented input from the public can serve as valuable evaluation material for improving governance and strengthening anti‑corruption efforts.
