Vicente López launches youth climate action project funding

The Municipality of Vicente López has launched a call for proposals aimed at young people and youth organizations to fund projects focused on environmental care and climate action. This initiative is part of the Youth Climate Action Fund, an international program supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies designed to promote climate solutions developed by younger generations.

As part of a global network of 300 cities, the program provides micro-grants and specialist guidance to individuals aged 15 to 24. The goal is to empower local youth, including students, scouts, and social organizations, to implement ideas that address the city's specific climate challenges while incorporating a social dimension.
