Vico Equense to host fourth annual dairy festival in October

Vico Equense will host the fourth edition of the dairy festival “A Vico per Cacio – 50 sfumature di Cacio” on October 17 and 18. The event, held along Corso Filangieri, is dedicated to celebrating local cheesemaking traditions and the expertise of master cheesemakers.

The festival features tastings and meetings focused on regional products such as fiordilatte, provola, caciocavalli, ricotta, and caciotte. A central component of the event is the De. Co. (Denominazione Comunale), a municipal designation used to recognize and promote the identity of local productions to ensure their value is passed to future generations.

The program was presented at the Sala delle Colonne of the SS. Trinità e Paradiso complex, with participation from regional and local authorities, including Campania Regional Councilor Maria Carmela Serluca and Mayor Giuseppe Aiello.
