Victor Marx faces criticism over abortion stance and religious claims
Colorado Democrats and pro-abortion advocates have criticized Republican gubernatorial nominee Victor Marx, labeling his stance on abortion as the most extreme among Republican nominees in at least a decade. Kate Sneed, executive director of the Colorado Democratic Party, also accused Marx of a history of divisive comments regarding women and Black women.

He has described meeting Satan in person and has detailed experiences involving what he characterizes as demonic possession and exorcisms. Marx has previously attempted to downplay these accounts, though audio uncovered by Talking Points Memo shows him describing an encounter where he believed a person was possessed.
