Victoria Grandmothers begin 20th annual fundraising cycle tour

Seventy-three cyclists are participating in the 20th annual five-week Victoria Grandmothers cycle tour across Greater Victoria. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Victoria Grandmothers for Africa, a group of more than 160 women.

The funds raised support the Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation (SLF). This campaign provides aid to 98 community-led organizations across 14 African countries. These organizations work to support grandmothers and their communities as they care for children orphaned by HIV and AIDS-related illnesses.
