Victoria Ruffo addresses controversy regarding Aitana Derbez

Mexican actress Victoria Ruffo has addressed the controversy surrounding her recent comments about Aitana Derbez, daughter of Eugenio Derbez and Alessandra Rosaldo. The dispute began after Ruffo commented on the physical changes children undergo during adolescence, stating that during this stage, children can be “very ugly” because it is uncertain if they are growing up or down, noting they may be thin, heavy, or bloated.

While Ruffo acknowledged Aitana’s talent in singing and dancing, her remarks regarding physical appearance drew significant criticism. Ruffo has since expressed frustration that her words were taken out of context and stated her intention to remain uninvolved in matters concerning her former partner’s family.

Alessandra Rosaldo responded to the situation by noting that she does not comment on others. She clarified that Aitana is protected from online negativity because she does not have social media accounts and does not have access to public comments. Rosaldo added that her daughter is aware of the hostility present on digital platforms.
