Vienna highlights historical sites and upcoming art festivals
Vienna is hosting various cultural and historical attractions. Schönbrunn Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, remains a major destination featuring Baroque architecture, imperial state apartments dedicated to Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Sissi, and extensive gardens.
Additionally, the Schloss Belvedere will host the ‘Klanglicht im Park’ festival in the Schwarzenberg Garden from October 23, 2026, to January 10, 2027. This outdoor event integrates light, sound, and art within the historical park landscape, featuring installations such as Luke Jerram’s ‘Museum of the Moon’ and works by Alfredo Barsuglia and Yasuhiro Chida.
