Vienna police arrest two Serbian nationals for residential burglary

Austrian police have arrested two Serbian citizens, aged 16 and 18, following a residential burglary in Vienna's 15th district, Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus.

Officers from the Street Crime Unit (EGS) had been monitoring the suspects after noticing suspicious behavior. The individuals were observed scouting various residential buildings, appearing to identify apartments where no occupants were present. After following the suspects for a period, police intercepted them during the act of breaking into an apartment.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the extent of any potential theft or property damage, nor have they provided details regarding the suspects' residency status in Austria or potential links to other criminal activities. An investigation is ongoing.
