Criminal activity and arrests in Austria

Overview

Police in Austria have conducted several operations involving arrests for various crimes. In Vienna, authorities apprehended a 30-year-old man in the Leopoldstadt district after residents pursued and detained him following alleged apartment break-ins. In the Penzing district, four men were arrested in connection with an attempted murder involving a 35-year-old victim who sustained gunshot wounds during a robbery attempt.
