Police investigate multiple deaths in Germany and Austria
Police in Germany and Austria are investigating several separate incidents involving the discovery of unidentified or deceased individuals under varying circumstances.
In Bavaria, Germany, a man estimated to be between 60 and 80 years old was found dead on a parking lot near the Sylvenstein Reservoir in the Lenggries area. While an autopsy has not indicated violent death, authorities described the circumstances of how the body arrived at the location as ‘absolutely dubious’ and are working to identify the man.
In Schweinfurt, Germany, the criminal police are seeking public assistance to identify a man whose body was found in the Main River near the Gutermann-Promenade. The deceased, approximately 180 to 185 cm tall with dark brown hair and a full beard, had distinctive markings including a tattoo on his right ring and middle fingers and a V-shaped scar on his right wrist.
In Vienna, Austria, authorities are investigating the death of a 46-year-old man found in an apartment in Floridsdorf following reports of a loud argument. Although forensic investigations and an autopsy have not yet provided concrete evidence of foul play, police are continuing to examine the circumstances and the presence of other individuals in the apartment at the time of death.
