Vietfish 2026 seafood exhibition opens in Ho Chi Minh City

The Vietfish 2026 International Seafood Exhibition has officially opened in Ho Chi Minh City under the theme ‘Innovation and Sustainability’. Organized by the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), the event covers over 14,000 square meters.

The exhibition features 568 stands representing 335 companies from Vietnam and 18 other countries and territories. According to VASEP President Do Ngoc Tai, the platform serves to connect the entire value chain, including aquaculture, fishing, processing, technology, logistics, and distribution.

In response to global trade volatility, the event aims to transition the sector from volume-based growth toward higher value creation, brand development, and sustainable supply chain strengthening. New initiatives include a ‘Hosted Buyer’ program to connect international importers with regional producers and live-streamed sales sessions to reach younger consumers.
