VietinBank and TPBank announce operational updates in Vietnam

VietinBank's Uong Bi branch has announced the relocation of its Phuong Dong transaction office. Effective September 22, 2026, the office will move from its current location at 45 Cau Sen, Yen Tu Ward, Quang Ninh City, to a new address at 546 Tue Tinh Street, Uong Bi Ward, Quang Ninh City.

Separately, TPBank has issued a notice regarding the verification process for incoming foreign remittances. To comply with State Bank of Vietnam regulations on foreign exchange management and anti-money laundering, the bank will verify transaction details via telephone or in-person visits. Customers may be required to provide information regarding the purpose of the funds, the identity of the sender, and their relationship to the sender. Failure to provide consistent or sufficient documentation may result in funds being temporarily frozen.
