VietJet adds 30% seats on domestic routes and expands summer flight network
VietJet announced a 30% increase in seat capacity on its domestic network, adding over 8.8 million seats for the 2026 summer season. The expansion covers major tourist hubs such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Hue, Quy Nhon and Quang Binh, as well as key city‑to‑city links.
The airline also boosted its international service, moving the Ho Chi Minh – Kuala Lumpur route to two daily flights from 3 July and preparing new routes to Colombo (3 August), Almaty and Prague (both 10 October) and Singapore (11 December). Promotional fares start at ¥24,900 (taxes included) for economy tickets, with up to 20% discounts on premium cabins, plus special soccer‑themed merchandise and in‑flight meal discounts.
VietJet now operates more than 500 flights daily, offering a total of over 8.8 million seats across its domestic and international schedule to meet rising travel demand in the Asia‑Pacific region.
